Retail & wholesale stock
Cartons, boxes, distributor inventory and packaged consumer goods.
Book a suitable small commercial truck for cartons, retail stock, packaged goods, tools, light industrial material and intercity deliveries. Choose an 8 ft or 10 ft body according to the dimensions, weight and quantity of your cargo.
Share your pickup location, destination and preferred loading date. We review your load and available vehicle configuration before providing a freight quotation.
An 8 ft or 10 ft goods vehicle can suit loads that are too substantial for a smaller mini truck but do not require a larger commercial vehicle.
Cartons, boxes, distributor inventory and packaged consumer goods.
Regular supplier-to-warehouse and intercity commercial movements.
Packed components, tools and suitable light machinery after load review.
Pickup points where truck length, turning room and entry restrictions matter.
Body length, actual payload, body type and road access should all influence the booking.
Compact commercial goods and smaller loads. Consider this when the pickup or delivery point has limited turning and parking space, provided weight and dimensions fit.
Select this option →More load-body length for longer cartons, fittings, equipment or larger packaged loads. Confirm access and payload rather than selecting by length alone.
Select this option →Send photographs, cargo dimensions, weight and package count. We can assess an 8 ft, 10 ft or 14 ft alternative for your route.
Select this option →Examples are for initial planning. The vehicle assigned for your movement determines the actual legal payload, internal dimensions and safe loading method.
| Vehicle | Body / configuration | Payload guidance | Common application |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 ft commercial pickup | Approx. 8 ft body; usable width and height vary | Representative small pickup: around 1 tonne, depending on model | Compact stock, cartons, tools and smaller commercial consignments |
| 10 ft commercial pickup | Approx. 10 ft body; check deck type and height | Representative heavy-duty pickup: up to 2 tonnes for a suitable variant | Longer packaged goods and higher-volume compact loads |
| Open-body option | Deck and sideboard dimensions vary | Must match the actual registration and vehicle specification | Goods suitable for open loading and appropriate securing |
| Closed-body option | Check internal length, width, height and door opening | Capacity may be lower after body weight | Weather-sensitive, packed and protected consignments |
For reference, Tata lists the Intra V10 with an approximately 8.2 ft deck and 1,000 kg payload. Mahindra lists a Bolero MaXX Pik-Up HD variant with a 3,050 mm (about 10 ft) cargo bed and 2-tonne payload. These are manufacturer examples, not a promise that those exact models are available for every booking.
Select the body according to cargo protection, loading method, equipment size and route requirements.
Suitable for many packaged industrial items and loads requiring top access, provided the goods can be safely secured and protected from weather where required.
Useful for cartons, documents, retail stock and sensitive packaged goods when internal dimensions, loading door opening and permissible payload are sufficient.

Cargo suitability depends on actual weight, dimensions, packaging and safe loading arrangements.
FMCG, packaged goods and wholesale stock.
Shop restocking, distributor goods and commercial merchandise.
Packed small components, tools and service equipment.
Packed furniture, displays and event equipment that fit the assigned truck.
Compact equipment after confirming gross weight, lifting points and securement.
Planned branch, supplier and warehouse dispatches.
A larger body does not automatically mean a higher permissible payload. Compare the load fit with your actual vehicle options.
| Requirement | 8 Ft Truck | 10 Ft Truck | 14 Ft Truck |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cargo size | Compact loads | More length for packed items | Longer and bulkier commercial goods |
| Pickup access | Often easier at smaller sites | Review gate and turning area | Requires larger access and loading space |
| Payload decision | Check selected pickup registration | Check selected pickup / LCV registration | Check assigned truck configuration |
| Booking enquiry | 8 ft small truck | 10 ft truck | 14 ft truck booking |

Urgent scheduling and truck positioning can affect price.
Labour, forklift, turnaround time and delivery-site restrictions.
Availability of suitable loads in the opposite direction may affect placement cost.
